Elena Hogan is an emerging writer and multidisciplinary creative working on unceded Wurundjeri land. Elena completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne (Creative Writing and English) in 2022 and her Diploma of Graphic Design in 2025 at RMIT. Since 2021, Elena has focused her practice on her debut novel, Everything Before Gia—a family saga, queer mystery and social commentary on transgender rights. She has worked with Regional Arts Australia, the Emerging Writers Festival and was featured in The Next Big Thing and the National Writers Conference in 2024.
