Taonga Sendama

Taonga is a poet and multimedia storyteller whose work explores memory, inheritance, and the space between page and stage. She has presented her work in theatre and has been supported by organisations including Fremantle Arts Centre, Centre for Stories, and the Wheeler Centre.
Alongside her creative practice, she facilitates writing workshops with community that focus on collective writing and embodied storytelling.
Taonga loves whales, lukewarm flat soft drinks, and lemons with salt.
