A lifelong love of music and writing consolidated when Bryget Chrisfield started penning live reviews for Inpress (now TheMusic) while studying Professional Writing & Editing at RMIT. After graduating, Bryget was initially employed as full-time staff writer before being promoted to Victorian editor of this national street press publication – now website – where she remained for over ten years. She is currently a freelance journalist – her byline appearing in publications including STACK, The Big Issue, The Music and Beat – and it is through interviewing musical geniuses that Bryget finds true happiness.

Ryan (he/they) is an award-winning fat/queer critic, producer, and theatremaker based in Narrm (Melbourne).

Ryan is a fierce advocate & critic for the indie theatre sector, doing theatre criticism on social media, organising theatre excursions with No Drama Drama Club, and seeing 150+ shows a year as a theatre judge.

Ryan’s criticism gets at the personal through the political, asking ‘how can theatre be a force for good in the world, working through me as an audience member?’

His work has toured the country, and he’s won awards at Melbourne Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and Fringe World Perth.

Jamie Tram is an award-winning critic and editor. Her work has appeared in ABC News, Guardian, and Spectrum. She is the former Small Screens Editor of The Big Issue Australia and a past Hot Desk Fellow. She is a co-writer of the animated short film Graveyard Shift, which premiered at Melbourne Queer Film Festival in 2022. She is the Program Coordinator for the Brunswick Underground Film Festival.
