Dana Mitchell is an emerging playwright, poet and comedian from Melbourne. In her attempts to reconcile the problem of the self as alien, Dana writes about the search for meaning in the trivial and common occurrences in her daily life. In 2019 Dana’s debut comedy play DUMMY won best show at the Melbourne University Drama Festival, winning her free admission into Fringe Festival. In 2022 Dana used that prize to stage her second play Revenge Plot at the MICF, selling out her six-show run.
