Program Launch: New Growth

Celebrate 20 years of Emerging Writers’ Festival, as the 2023 program is revealed.

Since 2003, the Emerging Writers’ Festival (EWF) has been tending to Australia’s budding literary talent, establishing roots between writers, nurturing their professional development, and introducing them to new audiences. Join us in celebrating EWF’s 20th birthday, with the launch of the 2023 festival program. Hear from festival artists Renay Barker-Mulholland, Dana Mitchell, Gabriella Munoz, and Beau Windon, and the EWF programming team, as they reflect on gradations and growth through writing and interactive reading. Afterwards, mingle, grab a drink, and explore the program through a specially commissioned, interactive digital game.

A live stream of this event will also be available from this page at 6.30pm on Tuesday 16 May. Bookings are not required.
