Simone Amelia Jordan is an award-winning writer, host and journalist. Her debut memoir, Tell Her She’s Dreamin’, is released on August 30 through Hachette Australia.
Simone was the first international editor of The Source magazine (known as the “Hip-Hop Bible”) and has worked in print, radio, TV and digital at Channel 10, SBS, ABC, Rolling Stone, SiriusXM Radio and The Industry Observer.
Simone is the Director of Special Projects for Media Diversity Australia, a consultant for Diversity Arts Australia, and the founder of Higher Ground Consulting Agency, a professional development service for culturally and racially marginalised female artists and creatives.
