Oliver Gough

Oliver Gough is an emerging playwright, PhD Candidate and university tutor based in Magandjin/Brisbane and at the University of Queensland, researching climate change theatre. Oliver’s plays have been produced by Observatory Theatre, Underground Theatre Company, Anywhere Festival and La Boite Theatre through its ‘Assembly’ program. Other writing has appeared in Australasian Drama Studies, ABC Religion and Ethics, ‘Science Write Now’, ‘Jacaranda’ and through ‘Yeah Nah Theatre’. Oliver is currently under commission by Playlab Theatre for a new co-written play, Theft, and has spoken at national and international conferences on absurdist theatre and ecology.
