Harriet Hurley

Harriet Hurley is a researcher and facilitator working across disciplines to disrupt exploitative forms of space exploration. With a background in anthropology, Harriet integrates scholarship, storytelling, and creative practice to uncover and re-negotiate ways we connect, understand and relate to Space.

Harriet is the Co-Founder of (Un)Common Cosmos, an initiative challenging the contemporary status quo of space exploration. Through experimental and collaborative approaches, (Un)Common Cosmos fosters ecological and cultural awareness and invites communities to build relationships with the night Sky and shape collective space futures.

Write into the cosmos in this workshop that seeks to uncover the myriad ways we imagine our place in Space. Explore science and speculative fiction as a world-building process, using space exploration as a canvas for our imagination.
