Writing on Art

Join writer, critic and author of Foreign Return, Neha Kale for an online workshop on the craft and possibilities of writing on art. Drawing on Kale’s wide experience as a writer and editor, this workshop includes examples and strategies for writing about art for publication in a way that is accessible, compelling and invites readers into cultural conversations. It also explores the power of visual forms to shape literary work and longer-form projects.  

Participants are invited to learn new approaches to engaging with artists and artworks through prompts and writing exercises and are encouraged to bring questions about their own writing practice.
