Join debut author Claire Sullivan for a fruitful dive into the strange and interesting fodder of local lore. In this roundtable event, Claire invites readers and writers to plant the seeds of their own hometown stories. Discover ways to turn dusty fables into treasure for your reader.

Claire Sullivan

Claire Sullivan is a writer, award-winning comedian, copywriter and Tasmanian living in Naarm. They’ve written journalism, creative non-fiction and poetry for The Big Issue, VICE, Kill Your Darlings, Cordite Poetry Review, Astray, Moss Piglet (USA), Hobart Pulp (USA) and more. Her first book, which is a true crime nonfiction book about a ninja cult, is being published by Pan Macmillan in September. Sullivan has a cat called Chicken, and loves a good pub.
