Faber Writing Academy Anthology Launch

Join us at The Wheeler Centre for the launch of the Faber Writing Academy Anthology, featuring Melbourne’s Writing a Novel students alongside students from Writing True Stories and Writing Creative Nonfiction courses.

Hosted by author, tutor and Faber Writing Academy Manager, Pip Smith, this is your chance to meet tutors Emily Bitto, Miles Allinson and Luke Horton and glimpse a range of excerpts from books-in-progress, each of which creates an intriguing and often magical world for readers to explore.

This event is presented by Faber Writing Academy at Allen & Unwin.

Luke Horton

Luke Horton is a writer, critic and creative writing lecturer from Naarm. His debut novel, The Fogging, was highly commended for the 2019 Victorian Premier’s Award for an Unpublished Manuscript and published by Scribe in 2020. His latest novel, Time Together, was published by Scribe in March 2025.
