Featuring Jahan Xanlü, Damoon Jehani, Astghik Lusaberyan, and Bianca Lucchesi, this special episode of 3CR sees three artists extract and examine the themes of traditional folk songs through an intersectional lens.

What role do traditional songs play in cementing and communicating our history? What tools do we need to navigate and re-interpret that history? Reading and applying the messages of traditional songs can be a difficult process, as our social norms and understandings of the world vary from place to place.
