Patrick is a Wadawurrung Kulin writer who spends their time split between Ballarat, their mother’s Country, and Narrm. Patrick also identifies with their Irish, Jewish and Anglo settler heritage and lives with Type 1 Diabetes. Patrick is interested in cultural heritage, cultural landscapes and forgotten or unsung histories; Patrick finds comfort and inspiration in writing for Country, telling stories about place and imagining Aboriginal timelessness from beyond colonial realities. Patrick is exploring their identities as a disabled First Nations person in a capitalist apocalypse and the confusing relationships that our entanglement create
