Carissa Lee

Carissa Lee is a First Nations actor and writer based in Narrm, and First Nations Commissioning Editor for The Conversation. A long-time member of First Nations Writers Network (FNAWN), her writing has featured in Witness Performance, The Guardian, Book Riot, The Saturday Paper, Junkee and IndigenousX.

Carissa has just recently submitted her thesis on First Nations Theatre to University of Melbourne. In her acting work, Carissa has performed with Ilbijerri Theatre, Melbourne Theatre Company, La Mama, and State Theatre Company of South Australia and appeared in House Husbands and The Sammy J Show.
