Amazing Babes

Amazing babes, gather round! We’re bringing together an incredible line-up of artists to honour the people that have influenced them, inspired them, cared for them, and shared with them. Join in celebrating the amazing babes that have shaped the lives of some of our favourite storytellers.

This event includes the announcement of the winner of the Rachel Funari Prize for Fiction 


Accessibility

Amazing Babes is an in-person event at Brunswick Mechanic Institute, in the Performance Space. 

Auslan Interpretation

The event will be Auslan Interpreted. Reserved seating available for best vision of the interpreters.  

Wheelchair Access

The venue is wheelchair accessible. The venue has an accessible entry via the front door, which has a ramp. 

Accesible Toilet

There are gender neutral and wheelchair accessible bathrooms available.  

Access Parking

Two accessible parking spaces are located at the corner of David St and Glenlyon Rd, and another two located on Glenlyon Rd, in front of the Brunswick Community Health Centre.  

Transport

Nearest public transport is tram and bus line from Sydney Road. The closest train station is Brunswick Station.

Relaxation Area

Relaxation Area is available near the bar.
