While we are now ten days long we will never forget where the heart and soul of our festival is…within our weekend long Town Hall program, within which we celebrate the writer and explore the art, craft and business of being a writer, whatever type of writer you may be.

Over the weekend of 30th - 31st May, for one low cost you can go to panel sessions, hear debates, listen to the writers process unwrapped and talk with our resident experts, the Ambassadors.

Back by popular demand, our Ambassadors Program offers personalised on-hand support and advice. Our Ambassadors are experienced writers, each with a different area of expertise. They will be present throughout the Festival as an advocate for their style of writing in a role that couples mentor with confidant.

This is the nitty gritty of their process, encompassing the art of the project, the craft of its creation and the business involved in finding its audiences.

Skill Sharing Forums

Half workshop and half road map, the EWF special Skill Sharing Forums are a chance to look at other forms of writing, have a taster of different ways of working and sharpen your skills in the business of being a writer.

All forums combine instruction and anecdotes, as well as being geared to what you want to know with this special ‘instruction and conversation’ model of skill sharing.
