Tzeyi Koay ( Zee-Kway) is a Chinese-Malaysian lawyer turned fantasy writer based in Melbourne. She studied Psychology and Politics at the University of Melbourne before earning her Juris Doctor.
Her debut novel is inspired by Chinese vampire lore and features a bisexual love triangle. A CURSE CARVED IN INK will be published in January 2027 with Atria Books Australia and Simon & Schuster UK. Since the auction, rights have sold into Germany, Italy, Spain, Hungary, and Poland.
