Nabilah Khan

Nabilah Khan is a Bangladeshi-born Australian writer based in Sydney. Her short stories, essays and author interviews are regularly published in print and online in The Daily Star. In 2024, she was longlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize. She is currently undertaking a Master of Creative Writing at the University of Sydney. Nabilah works with underprivileged students, volunteering as a remote English tutor at an orphanage in Bangladesh. Advocating for the rights, liberties and education of women and girls adds meaning to her existence and plays a major role in her writing.
