Maija Flood

Maija Flood is a writer and musician from Dja Dja Wurrung country now living and working on Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung lands. Maija was most recently a participant in the National Gallery of Australia’s Digital Young Writer’s Residency where participants engaged in a series of masterclasses and developed articles for publication. Her practice is informed through a love of poetry and short-form writing, as well as the notion of writing as performance art, incorporating sound and visual story-telling into her work.
