Mahsa Foroughi

Mahsa is a Sydney-based academic at the Faculty of Built Environment, University of New South Wales. She studied architecture and have a great devotion to short story, poetry and philosophy. She has completed her doctoral thesis recently with a focus on an interdisciplinary study of architecture and the concept of time that uses Andrei Tarkovsky’s films as a case study for exploring the aesthetic possibilities and subjective experiences of temporality in built environments. Her true passion is poetry through which she plies and plays on the downsides of living in a world of war, anxiety and social injustice.
