George Green

George Green is an African American children’s book author and creative based in Melbourne. As the co-founder of Little Global People, he creates stories, educational games, and resources that centre children of colour and celebrate identity, culture, and imagination.

A migrant to Australia with a background in youth justice and community work, George has published eight children’s books, two card games, and a culturally rich Africa puzzle.

His books have helped fund 25 water wells in developing countries. He’s focused on creating space for diverse stories and helping young people see themselves reflected in books and educational games.
