Dylan Murphy

Dylan Murphy is a Melbourne based writer, comedian, filmmaker, and award-winning director of clowns. A 2024 RAW Comedy National Finalist and Best Newcomer nominee at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, his solo work blends deadpan storytelling with surreal emotional spirals. As a director, he has collaborated with performers including Scout Boxall, Hannah Camilleri, and Dougie Baldwin, staging acclaimed, genre-bending shows with sold out seasons at Malthouse Theatre, the Edinburgh Fringe, and London’s Soho Theatre. His film work includes the OF THE CENTURY Instagram saga, and the award winning SUPER BIRTHDAY and FEEDBACK, known for their dark comedy and magic realism.
