Claire Cao is a writer and critic from Western Sydney, with a focus on screen, literature and contemporary art. She is the current Small Screens editor for The Big Issue and Kill Your Darlings’ 2022 New Critic. Her work can be found in publications such as The Guardian, ArtReview, Filmmaker, Voiceworks, Meanjin and more. She is one of eight screenwriters for the film Here Out West (Opening Night Film, SFF 2021).
