Bree Turner

Bree Turner (she/her) is a queer/feminist researcher and writer from Australia, currently based in Paris. Her research and creative practice explore gender, sexuality, digital cultures, and performativity. Her poetry and essays have appeared in Polyester, SIDE-NOTE, Veraison Magazine, Archer Magazine, So-Fi Zine, Jacaranda Journal, and Partial Magazine, among others. She has held research and teaching positions at The University of Melbourne, and RMIT University where she earned her PhD in social science. In 2025, she will undertake a residency at Pada Studios in Portugal to write a play examining repronormativity, to be performed in Paris in 2026.
