Andrew Roberts

Andrew Nathan Roberts is a speculative fiction writer, journalist, and communications producer. His love of storytelling grew from visiting relatives in Malaysia and the UK while growing up. Absorbing family history from his cultural heritage unlocked an obsession with asking questions about identity and belonging. He was awarded a Google Journalism Fellowship in 2017 and won the Irish SMEDIA the same year for Best Screenplay while completing his MA in Journalism. He has been published in Aurealis, Andromeda Spaceways Magazine and AUSTRAL 2024. He is the Vice President of Meridian Australis, a Melbourne-based speculative fiction writing collective and emerging publisher.
