The Monash Undergraduate Prize for Creative Writing received a record 467 entries of creative writing from undergraduate students around Australia and New Zealand. With this huge pool of talent to work through, we are extremely proud to announce the shortlist for 2016:

The winners will be announced on Tuesday June 14, at the opening night event of the Emerging Writers’ Festival and the winning entries will be published in Verge.

The winner will be awarded $4,000, while the highest place Monash University student will win $1,000.
