Steering the Craft
Journey through the word-magic of the formidable Ursula Le Guin in a writing craft workshop facilitated by artist and writer Lucy Wylie.
How do the bodies we are in shape the worlds that we write? What structures can be altered when we dream up new futures collectively? Drawing upon writing exercises from Le Guin’s comprehensive handbook Steering the Craft, this session will also explore the Handdara practice of Presence (from Le Guin’s classic novel The Left Hand of Darkness) as a means of deepening critical connection to an embodied writing practice.
