Join this limited-capacity workshop as award-winning author and tutor Luke Horton helps get your novel’s opening chapter submission ready.

In this fiction-intensive, Luke will offer tailored feedback, and ask all the essential questions of your novel’s opening; Does it sing? Does it draw the reader into its world? Suitable for writers with a novel they’re in the process of polishing.

Luke Horton

Luke Horton is a writer, critic and creative writing lecturer from Naarm. His debut novel, The Fogging, was highly commended for the 2019 Victorian Premier’s Award for an Unpublished Manuscript and published by Scribe in 2020. His latest novel, Time Together, was published by Scribe in March 2025.
