Digital Writing 101

Get started making pieces that harness digital media in this fun introductory workshop. From multimedia essays to interactive fiction and everything in between, explore what’s possible through practical exercises and examples from both expert and self-taught digital creators.

You’ll learn how you can use tools like Twine, Bitsy and more, to make interesting digital work without expensive software or deep technical know-how. Finally, see how you can use creative jams and experiments to continue to grow and evolve your digital practice, and join us in the Digital Writing Jam in the days following the workshop.
